Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to join their team in the Canterbury region. This role is in a private company, and works closely with the Service Delivery Manager and the Data team.
Primary responsibility is to plan and coordinate IT requirements for the business moves, expansions, and new locations and communicate the accompanying service disruptions and outages with key stakeholders and business locations.
The preferred requirements for this role are
- Five years of infrastructure management experience
- 10+ years of technology experience
- Experience with networking foundational and structured cabling concepts
- Familiar with cloud-based infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), SalesForce.com (SFDC), Microsoft Azure, and Nutanix cloud platforms
- Experience using Service Now for Service Desk Ticketing and Operational Reporting
This role is in central Christchurch, allows for flexible working hours, and provides the opportunity to work from home one or two days a week.
