Our client is seeking an experienced Harvest Supervisor to join their team in the South Island. The role is a permanent and full-time position.
The role involves managing and supervising forestry crews, harvest and earthworks planning, road construction, and the post-operation clean-up of client forests.
The location for this role is in the Nelson region. The essential requirements are:
- 5+ years experience in the forestry industry
- Supervisory experience, preferably in harvesting, EH&S, and/or earthworks
- Strong communication skills and ability to build sound stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in field auditing, data capturing, and quoting of harvesting blocks
- Have a sound, practical understanding of EH&S in the forestry industry and familiarity working with EH&S apps
- Can effectively generate leads and help grow our business
