Our client is a market leader and provider of patient (consumer) and healthcare provider applications. They provide modern health apps for health professionals to improve patients’ health and help consumers improve their well-being. They have established a significant market share and are growing well. They have a presence in Australia and are investing in that territory, intending to grow from late 2022. To help them grow faster and satisfy the latent demand, we are looking for a strong, motivated National Sales Manager / Business Development Team Leader to lead their team in Australia with support from Auckland, NZ. Suppose you have the aptitude, basic skills, and customer service orientation and aspire to achieve sales targets (helping customers get what they need to, in turn, help their patients). In that case, this could be the right opportunity for you.
The location of this role is in Australia. You will have to be able to:
- Contact new and existing customers to identify opportunities to improve and increase services.
- Learn about the products and the sales and customer service approach so you can present and conduct sales demonstrations of products to all stakeholders
- Manage the sales funnel to achieve the agreed sales targets
- Perform well-prepared follow-up on the sales contracts
- Engage in industry events and conferences
Ideally, the background we are looking for includes: - Ten or more years of sales, business development, customer service, and account management experience in IT apps and services – preferably within the health and wellness industry
- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding sales results in a previous role across multiple geographies
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
- Strong customer focus
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Skills to identify and capitalize on worthwhile sales opportunities
- Ability to influence at a sector level and “make rain!”.

There is an attractive remuneration package for the right candidate – with a potential for OTE $250K.
