Our client is a prominent organization in Otago. They provide systems and services across a wide range of businesses and business units covering administrative, business intelligence, analysis, and reporting systems, along with functional application software for a wide range of business functions. They are a significant operator and are well established and have sound financials. Separately they have a business transformation project in the planning phases, but this role initially involves the business-as-usual systems. An IT Systems Architect is required to support their operations, security, networks, systems, and development/maintenance teams.
The background we are looking for includes:
- Ideally four or more years systems, infrastructure, networks, and architecture experience in IT systems and services.
- Proven track record of design and implementation and successful operations of a wide range of systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong technical focus and good teams and client awareness
- Skills to identify weaknesses and solve problems to ensure systems are effective business solutions
- Ability to influence at various levels
